Figueretes House

Situated in the old quarter of the Barcelona town of Mataró, Casa Figueretes was a challenge for Laura Pujol | Interiorisme & Projectes de Disseny. A project that started out with a singular characteristic: its triangular floor plan, which was quite deteriorated due to the years it had been closed. For this reason, Microcement Topciment was chosen to unify the flooring of the main floor, as a continuous cladding was sought that would not generate new joints or ruptures of spaces in an architecture of irregular shapes. The colour chosen for the flooring, Piedra París, brings luminosity and continuity to this beautiful home. Photos by Adriana Trif.
