What it is

The changing play of light and colour that can be achieved with Elitte Glaze, the line of glazes with metal effect, as well as with Elitte Glitter, the line of glazes with glitter effect, is a real eye-catcher on walls, furniture and floors.

Depending on the chosen application method, homogeneous to less uniform finishes with a strong visual contrast can be achieved. Translucent effects and colour degradations are one of the unlimited combinations that Elitte offers to the professional.

Elitte Glaze is Topciment's range of ready-to-use metal-effect glazes. The high gloss of these glazes produces a very interesting effect of light and shadow, creating a special atmosphere in every room. Infinite metallic reflections thanks to the five colours of the Elitte Glaze range: Aluminium 054, Gold 063, Copper 063, Copper Red 063 and Silver White 500.

Application of Elitte metal-effect and glitter paint glazes

The application of the Elitte glazes is the same whether you are looking for a metal effect finish or a glitter effect finish. Glazes that, as it has been previously mentioned, can be applied on practically any substrate such as brick, concrete, ceramic or microcement, among others. It can be applied by brush, paintbrush, roller, trowel, sponge or even spray.

These are the four steps to take into account when applying these glazes, which are perfect for walls, floors and furniture:

Step 1. Clean and prepare the substrate
Check that the substrate is well consolidated and dry. Vacuum the surface to make sure it is completely clean. Sand if necessary.

Step 2. Decoration
Apply a coat of the desired Elitte product (Aluminium 054, White Silver 500, Gold 063, Copper 063, Copper Red 063, Bronze 200, Silver 500 or Gold 500) with a trowel, brush, brush, sponge, roller or spray gun. Allow to dry for 24 hours.

Step 3. Sealing
Seal with two coats of Presealer (allowing 4 hours between coats) to close the pores. Sand.

Step 4. Protection
Finally apply two coats of Topsealer WT One Coat varnish, allowing 24 hours between coats, to protect the surface. Allow to dry for 24 hours.
