Imacem is the name of Topciment's extensive family of moulds for stamped concrete. We have more than 150 types of silicone moulds to recreate all kinds of shapes and textures, so that the professional can choose the one that best suits the needs of the work and the finish to be acquired. Moulds for stamped concrete and vertical stamped concrete with different designs, dimensions and thicknesses that offer the most varied decorative solutions to replicate them to the customer's taste. These products are manufactured in Spain and meet the highest quality standards. With them, continuous coverings are achieved that can imitate tiles, bricks or stone, among many other options. Moulds for stamped concrete made not only to be applied on pavements, but also on walls.

What are Stamped Concrete Forms

Moulds for stamped concrete are stencils with or without relief that are used to decorate, above all, pavements. This is the most common use of this material. Although vertical printed concrete is increasingly in demand and, therefore, there are also moulds for vertical surfaces such as façades. In fact, within Imacem we also have this type of moulds.

Moulds that are stamped and printed on a pavement or wall, giving it a specific appearance, shape and colour. In the most common locations we can easily recognise the use of moulds for printed concrete. For example, in public places such as pavements, squares and housing estates, as well as on terraces or in swimming pools. In the latter case, however, special care must be taken to avoid contact with chlorine.

Moulds for stamped concrete that recreate all kinds of textures and shapes such as ceramic, natural stone, cobblestones, tiles or wood. The latter is undoubtedly one of the most popular because it offers an elegant, rustic and original finish.

The purpose of moulds for stamped concrete is none other than to replace conventional continuous paving with the most unique designs. A continuous covering, very resistant and of high decorative value thanks to the variety of shapes and materials that the moulds are capable of emulating.

Advantages of printed concrete moulds

Printed concrete is one of the most widely used building materials today. A decorative and functional solution that never goes out of fashion due to its unquestionable benefits.

The following are the main advantages of using moulds for printed concrete:

Diversity of designs: the great customisation of stamped concrete moulds makes it possible to create all kinds of patterns and designs on the floor or wall. A variety that not many materials can boast.

Can be used on all types of floors and walls : although moulds for stamped concrete are mainly used for outdoor cladding, they can also be used indoors, although this is not the most common. Moulds that are mainly used for paving in housing estates, parks, gardens, entrances to residential areas, patios, terraces, swimming pools, etc. But also on walls and facades.

They prevent weeds : when choosing materials to apply in outdoor spaces, water and the growth of weeds are two inconveniences that can cause real problems. With the use of stamped concrete forms this does not happen, as a seamless, continuous coating is created that prevents weed growth and is also perfectly resistant to water.

Highly resistant : the paving or wall resulting from the stamping of a printed concrete mould stands out for its durability and resistance. They are continuous coverings that remain in perfect condition over time and do not discolour easily, as they are resistant to UV rays.

Types of stamped concrete patterns for stamped concrete

There are many types of moulds for stamped concrete depending on the surface you want to renovate and the finish you want to give it. At IMACEM we have three lines of moulds to choose from: one for floors, another for walls and a third that imitates the texture of wood.

Before showing the moulds for stamped concrete that belong to each of them, it is necessary to make a first categorisation and distinction between semi-rigid moulds and those that are flexible.

Semi-rigid moulds for stamped concrete cannot be bent due to their consistency, as they need precisely this rigidity to support the weight imposed on them without generating undulations on the concrete coating. However, the applicator can stand on top of such a printed concrete mould to leave a specific mark with his own feet or by using a tamper.

On the other hand, there are flexible moulds for stamped concrete, which are the ones we have at Imacem. Thanks to their excellent flexibility, they can be bent without any problem, even at right angles. An advantage that makes it easier to reach places inaccessible to semi-rigid moulds. A flexibility that allows the moulds to sink into the fresh concrete, generating undulations and even overflows.

Stamped concrete patterns for floors

Moulds for stamped concrete for floors are the most widely used, as most of the works that are carried out with stamped concrete are precisely to cover continuous pavements.

Within the range of moulds for stamped concrete for floors and pavements, there are 13 families. Moulds to be applied when the concrete or mortar is still fresh.

Vertical Stamped Concrete Patterns

Unique creations for facades, walls or partitions can also be achieved with our specific range of moulds for vertical stamped concrete. Because the application of stamped concrete is not the same on floors as it is on vertical surfaces.

The dimensions of moulds for vertical stamped concrete are smaller than their counterparts for floors. As a general rule, any mould that does not exceed 80 cm in length can be used on walls.

At Imacem we have a very exclusive and peculiar line to decorate all types of vertical surfaces with patterns that simulate the natural finish of stone, brick or slate, as shown below.
