Desmocem® is our exclusive range of concrete release agents for stamped concrete and vertical stamped concrete. High performance products that are designed to facilitate the removal of the moulds used in the printing of floors and walls.

Concrete release agents for stamped concrete create a completely non-stick surface prior to the application of the printed moulds. This prevents the moulds from sticking to the floor or wall and prevents them from giving the decorative texture of the moulds.

Our release agents allow any type of stencil or mould for stamped concrete and vertical stamped concrete to make its mark as cleanly as possible.

This product line includes Desmocem® Liquid, a liquid release agent for stamped concrete, on the one hand, and Desmocem® Powder, a powder form release agent, on the other. The latter has the additional quality of providing colour, which allows all kinds of contrasts to be created, as it is not necessary to use the same colour as the mortar or wearing course.

Concrete release agent for stamped concrete in liquid form Desmocem® Liquid

Desmocem® Liquid is the concrete release agent for liquid stamped concrete that is part of Topciment's Desmocem® family of release agents. Like its powder counterpart, it is an aliphatic solvent-based release agent that perfects the removal of stamped concrete and vertical stamped concrete moulds.

It is a solvent-based liquid release agent for stamped concrete that does not require dilution and dries by evaporation. In fact, one of its most outstanding features is that it dries to the touch in just 1 hour.

How to apply Desmocem® Liquid concrete release agent for stamped concrete

1. Spray Desmocem® Liquid concrete release agent directly onto the printed mould and the surface to be treated.

2. Apply a certain amount of pressure and remove the moulded part that has been used.

3. Apply the product by spray, brush or roller. In the case of spraying, respect a distance of between 30 and 40 cm of separation.

4. Coat the surface in such a way that a uniform and homogeneous film is applied. Avoid leaving puddles or thick layers.

Regarding the application of this liquid and water-insoluble release agent for stamped concrete, it should be noted that the ambient and substrate temperature must be between 5ºC and 30ºC without excessive wind. If by any chance the temperature exceeds 35ºC it could cause an excessive evaporation of the solvent. If this happens, the concrete release agent will have to be reapplied.

Precautions for Desmocem® Liquid Concrete Release Agent for Stamped Concrete

Liquid and vapours are highly flammable. A product that may cause skin irritation, drowsiness or dizziness.

In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water for approx. 15 minutes and seek medical advice.

In case of skin contact, wash the affected area with soap and water.

Ensure good ventilation.

It is recommended to use a mask with chemical absorbent for organic vapours, protective goggles and rubber gloves.

Close the lid of the container after each use to prevent drying or thickening.

Desmocem Powder concrete release agent for powdered stamped concrete

Desmocem® Powder is the concrete release agent for powdered stamped concrete from Topciment's Desmocem® range. A product created to improve the removal of moulds used in decorative stamped concrete pavements.

A ready-to-use release agent based on esterified fatty acid salts and totally inorganic pigments. A water-insoluble powder release agent for stamped concrete in a range of 12 colours.

Desmocem® Powder is not only designed to facilitate the removal of moulds on decorative surfaces, but is also ideal for obtaining decorative antiquing. Aged surfaces with which to give a touch of distinction to printed floorings and vertical stamped concrete.
