XTREMFLOOR® Level Concrete is a polymer coating for smoothing and leveling thin-layer pavements, specifically those with a thickness of 1 to 10 millimeters, located indoors.

Except for our microcement for swimming pools, Atlanttic Aquaciment®, XTREMFLOOR® Level Concrete floor levelling compound can be used with all our systems:

- Traditional two-component microcement: Sttandard.

Other materials that can be used with the floor levelling compound XTREMFLOOR® Level Concrete

As mentioned earlier, XTREMFLOOR® Level Concrete mortar is part of the microcement system, which it was specifically designed for. However, this does not preclude it from being coated with other types of materials. Our thin-layer floor levelling compound with a thickness of 1 to 10 mm can be coated with ceramics, terrazzo, PVC, concrete, linoleum, vinyl, cement mortar, carpet, parquet, and wood, among many others.

How to apply our floor levelling compound for microceme pavements

Before applying the mortar, the substrate on which XTREMFLOOR® Level Concrete will be poured must be well-settled, dry, and free from dust, grease, and other types of dirt that could affect adhesion. Important: the substrate must have a minimum compression strength of 12 MPa and a tensile strength of more than 1.2 N/mm² ("pull-off" test).

1. Prime the substrate with Primapox® 100 Barrier

Apply our Primapox® 100 Barrier epoxy anti-humidity primer with aggregate saturation. To ensure a uniform coverage, let the product dry for 24 hours.

2. Mix the floor levelling compound for microcement finishes XTREMFLOOR® Level Concrete

For every 25 kg bag of mortar, which is the format available for XTREMFLOOR® Level Concrete, mix with 4.5 liters of water using an electric mixer or pumping machine. Keep mixing until you get a lump-free and homogeneous mixture. Important: we recommend conducting flow tests before and during pumping to ensure that the product flows as it should.

3. Apply the floor levelling compound for microcement coatings XTREMFLOOR® Level Concrete

Pour the resulting mixture onto the floor and level it with a trowel. We recommend using a spiked roller to eliminate trapped air. In the case of significant thicknesses, it is advisable to vibrate the material after application to facilitate self-leveling and remove bubbles and hose marks.

4. Coat the floor levelling compound XTREMFLOOR® Level Concrete with microcement

Apply the chosen Topciment® microcement system, following the product layering and respecting drying times. Alternatively, another coating compatible with this floor levelling compound can be applied. It may be necessary to perform a surface sanding and vacuuming before installing the final decorative coating.
