What it is

Our microcement resins stand out for their easy application and their notable mechanical resistances. Completely free of solvents, these acrylic and water-based resins are used to consolidate cementitious surfaces.

Depending on the field of application and use, we find within the Acricem family two types of resins. On one hand, Acricem, which shares its name with the range, and is intended as component B of the Sttandard, Natture systems. And, on the other hand, Acricem Pool, specific for the Atlanttic swimming pool microcement.

Bicomponent microcement resin

As a primer to secure cementitious supports before applying microcement

Acricem is the resin for two-component microcements. Specifically, it forms component B of our Sttandard, Natture microcement systems. This water-based acrylic resin significantly increases the mechanical performance of the coating as well as the waterproofing of the mortar.

Product that is supplied ready to use and can also be applied as a primer in a single coat using a roller or brush. In this case, you will have to wait a minimum of 30 minutes and never more than 24 hours to apply the first coat of microcement on the support.

Among the multiple qualities of this resin for microcement, it is worth highlighting the reduction of shrinkage cracks. It also provides greater cohesion and plasticity of the mortar or concrete when they are fresh.

Uses
  • As a primer to secure cementitious supports before applying microcement.
  • Additive for the kneading water of mortars.
  • Component B of two-component microcement systems, except in swimming pools.
Yield
The performance of the Acricem microcement resin is 0.10L/m2, although it may vary depending on the porosity of the treated support.
Packaging
The water-based acrylic resin Acricem is available in 5 and 25 liter containers.
Instructions for use
Important: previously mix the Acricem microcement resin in the kneading water, homogenizing the mixture very well before making the mortar. 1. Pour a little of the Acricem microcement resin into a container and add the corresponding amount of pigment. 2. Mix the resin and the pigment until achieving a homogeneous color. 3. Gradually add the two-component microcement in powder form. 4. Mix with low-speed mechanical stirrer for 4 minutes until there are no lumps.

Resin for microcement of swimming pools

Liquid component for kneading the two-component microcement for Atlanttic Aquaciment pools

Acricem Pool is an exclusive resin for microcement of swimming pools. Specifically developed for the Atlanttic Aquaciment system, this water-based acrylic resin exponentially multiplies the water impermeability as well as the permeability to water vapor.

See full details

A microcement resin that includes water repellents in its formula, repelling water and therefore being the perfect complement for pool glasses. With low water absorption, it creates safe spaces from cracks thanks to its superior mechanical resistances.

Uses
  • Liquid component for kneading the two-component microcement for Atlanttic Aquaciment pools. It cannot be used as component B of another Topciment® microcement system.
Yield
The performance of the Acricem Pool microcement pool resin is 0.10L/m2, but it can change depending on the porosity.
Packaging
The water-based acrylic resin Acricem Pool is available in 25-liter containers.
Instructions for use
1. Pour a little Acricem Pool microcement resin into a container and pigment with the corresponding amount of Arcocem® pigment. 2. Mix until you get a liquid whose color is completely homogeneous. 3. Gradually add the Atlanttic Aquaciment microcement for pools. Mix with mechanical stirrer at low revolutions for at least 2-3 minutes. 4. Stop when the mixture is homogeneous and free of lumps. 5. Apply 1 layer of Acricem Pool with a roller and let it dry for approximately 30-45 minutes.
Mixing ratios

Important: Proportions must be respected to ensure the properties of the microcement coating.
