Reagents for oxidising concrete surfaces - Oxicem® Concrete

Oxicem® Concrete constitutes the line of colouring chemical reactants for tinting and oxidising concrete surfaces as well as other cementitious and mineral surfaces. Products that offer the most unique decorative finishes for decorative pavements and for walls.

Available in 7 colours, they produce a colouration on the support to be treated through a chemical reaction, automatically generating coloured mineral nanocrystals. Materials that are light stable, which facilitates the use of our reagents in the same way outdoors as indoors.

Chemical dyes that are applicable in all kinds of shapes and are perfect for transforming and oxidising old concrete surfaces. Coatings of polished concrete, precast concrete and imprinted concrete, but also of microcement.

With Oxicem® Concrete it's very easy to renovate environments and surfaces worn out over time. An original decorative finish that doesn't lose that naturalness of the vintage look so in demand today.

Oxicem® Concrete colours to oxidise concrete surfaces

Amarillo, Bronce, Negro, Oliva, Pardo, Turquesa y Verde Océano are the seven colours available within the Oxicem® Concrete family. Colours that offer very different finishes depending on the shade of the concrete coating you want to oxidise, as well as its sealing.

In this regard, if light-toned concrete surfaces are going to be oxidised, the final coating will have a very different appearance to one that is darker even though the colour of Oxicem® Concrete is the same. Similarly, the final texture changes completely after the use of the Topsealer ® WT One Coat sealer.

The displayed colours of Oxicem Concrete® to achieve a rust effect on concrete are digital simulations. It is possible that the results of the samples do not match 100% when applying our chemical dyes on a surface. Therefore, we advise consulting the catalogues of real samples beforehand.

Next, we show the different rust effects on concrete that can be achieved if Oxicem® Concrete is used in light-toned coatings. The image on the left is of the unsealed coating, the one on the right is the resulting texture from protecting the coating with our water-based polyurethane varnish Topsealer ® WT One Coat.

Rust effect on concrete with Oxicem® Concrete on dark coatings

As can be plainly seen, the finishes of Oxicem® Concrete vary considerably when the product is applied to dark coatings. In the samples on the left, we appreciate the rust effect on concrete before sealing. In those on the right, the final finish after the use of Topsealer ® WT One Coat varnish.
